Spend the evening listening to simply strings a 3 piece string Trio, playing the the encapsulating sounds of the famous TV production, Bridgerton, in our State Dining Room. On arrival you will be greeted with a welcome drink, then shown up to are Libary Lounge where you can relax before the concert begins.
The evening will consist of two 40 minute sessions with a thirty minute interval, to enable you to enjoy a relaxing drink in our libary lounge.

Join our Collections Team to explore objects and documents from the Wentworth Woodhouse archive. Find out about stories contained in the archives, how we care for our archive and see never before displayed items.
The session will include:
- The opportunity for supervised hands-on access to archival items
- Unlocking stories from the Wentworth Woodhouse archive
- Tips on how to look after your at-home archival collections
A hot drink is provided upon arrival.

Life drawing classes at Wentworth Woodhouse first ran in 1950 with the establishment of the Lady Mabel College. 75 years later and with poses inspired by the incredible portraits in our House of Fun exhibition, life classes have returned.
Join professional artist and life-drawing tutor at Sheffield Museums, Richard Johnson and spend the day drawing a professional life model in the grand setting of Wentworth Woodhouse.
Classes are suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced. Richard will give as much or as little advice and guidance as each artist requires.
Richard will be in touch with all attendees to discuss equipment requirements.

Expect a mix of powerful short films, creative installations, and opportunities to interact with the filmmakers themselves.

AN EVENT IN THE LIBRARY LOUNGE FOR 50 GUESTS.
THIS WILL BE IN AN INTIMATE SETTING IN THE LIBRARY LOUNGE, WHERE STAFF MEMBERS WILL TELL OF THEIR STRANGE EXPERIENCES WHILST WORKING AT WENTWORTH WOODHOUSE.
VIDEO AND AUDIO RECORDINGS WILL BE PLAYED THAT HAVE BEEN RECORDED INSIDE THE HOUSE AND STABLES.
GUESTS WILL BE ENCOURAGED TO ENGAGE AND TELL OF THEIR OWN EXPERIENCES MAYBE HERE OR ELSEWHERE.
THIS IS A ONE-OFF EXPERIENCE AND WILL BE MADE MORE ATMOSPHERIC AS IT FALLS ON HALLOWEEN.

Gerald Dickens, the great-great grandson of Charles Dickens, returns to Wentworth Woodhouse once more with a mesmerising one-man performance of the ghostly Christmas classic, A Christmas Carol. This thrilling one-man performance, followed by a two course Victorian meal, is the perfect way to spend a dark, winter evening at our final fundraising event of the year!

5 November 2025, Restoring and Revitalising Wentworth Woodhouse’s Camellia House by Dorian Proudfoot.
Dorian Proudfoot is an accredited conservation architect and Chief Executive of Donald Insall Associates. Donald Insall’s were the architects who worked on the transformation of The Camellia House at Wentworth Woodhouse, which sat derelict for five decades, was listed on Historic England’s ‘Buildings at Risk’ register. As part of ongoing works to reimagine the wider Wentworth estate, they led a conservation project to restore and revitalise the Grade II*-listed Georgian building. The project has recently been recognised with a Europa Nostra Award, one of Europe's most prestigious heritage awards. Join Dorian to hear more about the restoration and its process.
