In this updated tour (formally Duties and Delights), discover how family life intertwined with the routines of those who served them, and how this delicate balance shaped the running of a great household. From grand entertaining rooms to working spaces hidden in plain sight, this tour offers a deeper understanding of the complex world of the House - both above and below stairs.

Additional Information
- The Living Upstairs, Downstairs tour runs for approximately 75 minutes.
- The Living Upstairs, Downstairs tour will take you to areas of the House that are not typically accessible on the public route. Whilst no servant’s quarters remain at the House (these are now our staff offices!), you will see areas where staff and servant’s life intermingled.
- Your tour ticket includes House and Garden general admission on the day of your tour (typically £15.50). Subject to opening dates and times.
Accessibility
Due to the age and nature of the House, some areas on this tour are only accessible via stairs and there are some uneven surfaces.

Gift Aid On Entry
If you're not a member/friend of Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust you have the choice of two entry tickets:
- Gift Aid Admission; or
- Standard admission
As we operate a Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a choice between the Gift Aid Admission price or standard admission price.
It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose, just let us know when you come to pay.
Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid — an extra 25 per cent — potentially a very significant boost to our funds.
Payment of the additional percentage donation is entirely voluntary, so if you prefer to pay the standard admission please advise our staff at the till point or select the standard admission price toggle below when booking online.
