Wentworth Woodhouse’s 25-year restoration has been dubbed ‘the most challenging restoration of a generation’. On this behind-the-scenes guided tour discover the craftsmanship and skill that has gone into creating, and now restoring and conserving, this special place. Join a member of the Wentworth Woodhouse Team as they take you to parts of the House currently undergoing work and share with you some of the conservation challenges ahead.
Adult: £27.50
Child: £13.75

- The Conservation Tour approximately 70 minutes.
- This small group tour visits some locations not typically on the visitor route, and focusses on the conservation and restoration ambitions of Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust.
- Your tour ticket includes House and Garden general admission on the day of your tour (typically £15.50). Subject to opening dates and times.
Accessibility
Due to the age and nature of the House, some areas on this tour are only accessible via stairs and there are some uneven surfaces.

Gift Aid On Entry
If you're not a member/friend of Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust you have the choice of two entry tickets:
- Gift Aid Admission; or
- Standard admission
As we operate a Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a choice between the Gift Aid Admission price or standard admission price.
It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose, just let us know when you come to pay.
Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid — an extra 25 per cent — potentially a very significant boost to our funds.
Payment of the additional percentage donation is entirely voluntary, so if you prefer to pay the standard admission please advise our staff at the till point or select the standard admission price toggle below when booking online.
