Can you put your best foot forward and complete our Figure of Eight Follies Challenge?
Back by popular demand, our Follies Challenge covers 20km (13 miles) of South Yorkshire countryside and takes in the four follies linked to Wentworth Woodhouse’s history. Our team of guides will give you a warm welcome on the day as well as giving a brief talk at each monument. A light lunch will be provided in the Low Drawing Room part way through the walk, where you will be able to rest your legs and enjoy a selection of savoury snacks and refreshments, before heading back out to complete the challenge!

Additional Information
- The terrain is moderate with some steady climbs, uneven surfaces, stiles and sections which can be muddy and slippery.
- Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome to join the walk.

We are collaborating with Home Instead to bring a Memory Café to The Camellia House each month!
The Memory Café is suitable for those living with dementia, or memory loss, and their carers. In the beautiful surroundings of The Camellia House, the Memory Café will explore local history and culture, through crafting, hands-on activities and conversation, alongside hot drinks and cake.

Monday 13th May | Rockingham Pottery session inspired by our Flora, Fauna and Feasting Exhibition, including clay sculpting and marzipan fruits.
Monday 10th June | History of coal mining at Wentworth Woodhouse.
Monday 8th July | Inspired by the George Stubbs Exhibition, explore Stubbs' connection to Wentworth Woodhouse and have a go at your own masterpiece.
Monday 12th August | Find out more about the Lady Mabel Physical Education College and its links to Wentworth Woodhouse, plus have a go at armchair sports.
Monday 9th September | History of tea, including tea tasting.

The Memory Café is suitable for those living well with dementia or memory loss, and their carers. Those with dementia should attend with a friend, carer or loved one.

Price: Pay what you feel
Join us in the newly-restored Camellia House for an insightful talk on the history of tea whilst enjoying some tea and sweet treats yourself! Learn about Lady Rockingham’s tea house, the place of tea in society through the ages and how it became our national drink. There will also be an 18th century tea service on display so you can see first-hand how the Georgians took their tea.

Following the success of last year and as part of our continued fundraising efforts, we’ll be hosting another Car Boot Sale on the East Front Lawn this spring! Outdoor performances will continue in all but the worst of weather, be sure to dress accordingly. All tickets are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation due to exceptionally bad weather or other extenuating circumstances alternative arrangements shall be made.

The Three Inch Fool's return to the West Front Gardens with two new outdoor theatre performances this summer! The first will be Shakespeare's shortest, and wildest comedy - The Comedy of Errors. The clock is ticking, as the Fools rush to untangle one almighty mess in this farcical tale of long-lost twins, hysterical misunderstandings, and endless mishaps. With musical instruments in hand, the actors present a joyous take on this Shakespearean rib-tickler - guaranteed fun for the whole family.
