Burns Night

This special evening celebrates the life and poetry of renowned Scottish poet Robert Burns.

Guests will enjoy an evening of traditional Scottish music performed by the Penistone Folk Ensemble, followed by the traditional “Address to the Haggis” before a delicious supper of haggis, neeps and tatties, accompanied by a traditional Scottish dessert.

Following the meal, Lightfoot Wines from Wentworth will host a Scottish whisky tasting, featuring four different whiskies from regions across Scotland.

The evening will then continue with traditional Scottish music and dancing, providing the perfect opportunity to celebrate Burns Night in true Scottish style.

  • 6.30pm Doors and Bar
  • 7.15pm Addressing the Haggis & two-course meal.
  • 8.15pm Whisky tasting.
  • 9.00pm Music and Dance.
  • 10.15pm Close

Accessibility  

  • There is ramp access to the ground floor, for visitors with mobility needs.
  • A temporary lift is available to the State Rooms on the 1st floor. 
  • Accessible parking is available in the main visitor car park.  
  • Only assistance dogs are permitted on the event.
