Celebrate the coming of summer at the Beltane Wellness Festival at Wentworth Woodhouse.
Beltane is an ancient Celtic fire festival celebrated in early May, that marks the beginning of summer, falling halfway between the spring equinox and summer solstice. Expect time to enjoy the Gardens, workshops*, performances and more!
Included in General Garden Admission for the Beltane Wellness Festival:
- Self guided walks of the Gardens
- Morris dancing performances
- Garden wellbeing workshops in the Community Garden (first-come-first-served)
- Drop-in craft activities for all ages
- Talk by Sheffield University
- Give It A Go Maypole Dancing
*some workshops carry a fee and can be pre-booked. These include Forest Bathing, Sound Baths, Yoga, Herbal Workshops. Entrance to the Garden is included in with the purchase of one of these workshop tickets.
Accessibility

Gift Aid On Entry
If you're not a member/friend of Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust you have the choice of two entry tickets:
- Gift Aid Admission; or
- Standard admission
As we operate a Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a choice between the Gift Aid Admission price or standard admission price.
It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose, just let us know when you come to pay.
Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid — an extra 25 per cent — potentially a very significant boost to our funds.
Payment of the additional percentage donation is entirely voluntary, so if you prefer to pay the standard admission please advise our staff at the till point or select the standard admission price toggle below when booking online.
