- Accompanying Carer | Free
Join Wentworth Woodhouse for a spot of Elevenses! Uncover history with our knowledgeable speakers, whilst sipping on a cup of tea.
On 5 May join Reg Nash to find out more about Yorkshire's forgotten potteries. Today there are few visible remaining reminders of the thriving local pottery industry once employing hundreds of workers in this area. Come and hear a background to the potters, where they were situated and see samples of their wares and clues to help identify them, as thankfully examples of their products can still be found.
Accessibility
This event takes place in the Low Drawing Room, which is on the Ground Floor of the Mansion. There is ramp access to the ground floor of the Mansion. Due to the age and nature of Wentworth the first floor is currently only accessible by stairs.
