Billy the Bat Book Launch
Thursday 7 August 2025, 2pm to 3.30pm

Billy the Bat is a bat born at Wentworth Woodhouse.  His amazing adventures can be discovered in Sue Wilkins's new book, 'Billy the Bat', with illustrations by Liz Furness. 

Join us to officially launch the book in this free for children event.  Including:

• A reading of Billy the Bat by author Sue Wilkins 
• A talk about bats by wildlife expert Greg Slack
• Bat inspired craft activities 

Adults will need to purchase a House and Gardens ticket, if they would like to visit the House/Gardens after the session.  Children (under 16) are free of charge.

This workshop will be perfect for budding batwatchers ages 3+. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
