A day of painting with a professional tutor in the historic gardens of Wentworth Woodhouse
To celebrate the world-class art on display at Wentworth Woodhouse in Rotherham we welcome you to join our outdoor painting day
The day will be led by professional artist Richard Johnson. Richard, who grew up in Wentworth village, is a life drawing tutor at Museums Sheffield and a landscape artist.
The class is ideal for amateur and professional artists working at an intermediate level or above.
Richard will be in touch with all attendees to discuss equipment requirements. By booking a ticket you are consenting to Wentworth Woodhouse sharing your contact details with Richard.
Other Information
- The event is an all day event, 10am-4pm.
- Parts of this event takes place outside; please dress appropriately for the weather.
- Dogs are unable to attend, unless they are assistance dogs.
- Accompanying Carers will not be provided with equipment
Accessibility
This event takes place in several arfeas of Wentworth Woodhouse; The West Front Gardens and the Low Drawing Room.
- The Gardens are accessible, but please be aware that some routes are on grass or gravel surfaces. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
- The Low Drawing Room, which is on the Ground Floor of the Mansion.
- An accessible toilet is available.
- A Hearing Loop is avaialable; please ask a member of the Team
There is ramp access to the ground floor of the Mansion. Due to the age and nature of Wentworth Woodhose the first floor is currently only accessible by stairs.
Accessible parking is available and will be signed.
