Wentworth Woodhouse invites you to wander in and explore some of its principal rooms in your own time, imagining yourself perhaps at a grand ball or luxurious dinner as the house opens its doors. For Summer 2025, Wentworth Woodhouse has become the House of Fun. Explore historic portraits, interactive art installations and more!
Due to the age and nature of Wentworth Woodhouse there is currently no lift access to the first floor of the Mansion. There is ramp access to the gound floor of the Mansion.

Separate admission tickets for the gardens must be purchased separately on the following dates

- Please note, although we have 365 rooms in total, only our State Rooms are available to explore as much of the House is still unsafe for visitors. We also don’t have a collection of original items. We have chosen to let the beauty of the rooms speak for themselves rather than filling the spaces with unoriginal items, and also regularly show art exhibitions in our rooms.
- Bags over the size of an A4 piece of paper (210mm x 297mm or 8.27in x 11.7in) are not permitted in the State Rooms. They must be checked into the lockers at Reception.

Gift Aid On Entry
If you're not a member/friend of Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust you have the choice of two entry tickets:
- Gift Aid Admission; or
- Standard admission
As we operate a Gift Aid on Entry, we'll offer you a choice between the Gift Aid Admission price or standard admission price.
It's entirely up to you which ticket you choose, just let us know when you come to pay.
Gift Aid Admission includes a 10 per cent or more voluntary donation. Gift Aid Admissions let us reclaim tax on the whole amount paid — an extra 25 per cent — potentially a very significant boost to our funds.
Payment of the additional percentage donation is entirely voluntary, so if you prefer to pay the standard admission please advise our staff at the till point or select the standard admission price toggle below when booking online.
